Psalm 34:18,22 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." "The Lord redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him."

My heart goes out to you and anyone who feels broken in spirit. As one who has been broken in spirit, I can say with confidence that God is willing to save all of us who are crushed in spirit as the psalm says. Neither of us at Women in Christ are counselors; our ministry is making the written word of God, The Bible, clear to those who want to know God. We believe God is real and concerned about individuals. We believe that Jesus lives to actively comfort and intercede for those who take refuge in him. We believe this, not just because the Bible states it, but because we have experienced this ourselves. Everything we write on this website is intended to encourage people to trust and obey God. He saves us not because we are worthy, but because he loves us and wants the best for us. Nancy and I have been through some tough times. God has not always changed the circumstances; but he does always make a way through them. 

God often uses people to help us through those tough times. We would encourage you to both seek God in prayer and look for a friend or a professional counselor or a grace-filled church in your area to encourage and comfort you. May God give you his peace and lift your spirit.
