Notes from Nancy


Among Christians, there are different practices of partaking of the bread and wine symbolizing Christ’s body and blood. However you observe this practice, this season holds a special reminder of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice.

Paul exhorted the Corinthians:

“For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 11:26-27
This month we take a look at Paul’s exhortation in The Church of God in Corinth: In Remembrance of Me.

We also take a closer look at what it means to examine or Test Yourselves in our Bible Study Guide.

Although, we should be testing ourselves throughout the year, I hope we can set aside some extra time to see how we may accomplish that.
