Life sometimes just happens to us. I am sure when Esther was chosen as a potential queen she had no idea that she would have a role in saving her people. The poor widow who threw two coins into the treasury would have no idea that the very Son of God would hold her up as example that people would learn about through the ages.

What is important is not what happens to us, but how we live our lives. It is our character that will shine through good and bad times.
